During our Divemaster or Dive Instructor internship we offer dorm accommodation in our dorm. Here you will meet fellow divers instantly as many of our Divemaster trainees, Divemasters, Instructor candidates AND Dive Instructors stay there. The dorm offers a large bed with Air Con or Fan, a kitchen, fridge, bathroom with hot water shower and a recreational area. Our dorm is located on the resort and most of Koh Tao’s major bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are within walking distance. Some of our DMTs and IDC candidates have said that their accommodation on Koh Tao was one of the best add-ons of their course because they got new friends for life.

Whilst our dorm accommodation will save you money, be fun and give you the opportunity to easily meet a lot of new people, we also understand if you’d prefer some more privacy during your Divemaster or PADI Instructor course with Sairee Cottage Diving, especially if you are staying with us as a couple. And thankfully, finding the best longer-term place to stay on Koh Tao is quite easy as there are many places to rent here.
You can choose Long-term accommodation on Koh Tao in all styles and for all budgets. You can choose to stay in a basic bungalow or a multiple bedroom house, a hilltop view villa or a regular apartment. You can find accommodation on Koh Tao for all budgets, some as cheap as 6,000 THB per month all the way up to 80,000 THB per month depending on how luxurious you like it. The average that most DMTs, Divemasters, IDC candidates and Diving Instructors spend on long-term accommodation on Koh Tao is around 10,000 THB per month. For that you can get air-conditioning in some places or maybe multiple rooms or stunning views in other places. It really depends on the location and the type of accommodation you want.D

Finding the Best Place to Stay on Koh Tao
To find the best place for you to stay on Koh Tao we recommend to first book a basic resort room for 3 nights (700 THB/night) at Sairee Cottage Diving in advance. During this time we will help you find long-term accommodation. Although some places accept reservations, most long-term accommodation options on Koh Tao do not offer booking opportunities before you arrive, so in most cases it’s best to book it when you are on the island. The accommodation on the Sairee Cottage Diving resort is very comfortable and all the training facilities are located only meters away from where you live. Sairee Cottage Diving also has 2 beautiful swimming pools and the accommodation is located right on Sairee beach. We offer a 10% discount on these rooms if you stay longer then a month.
