The decision to do my IDC at Sairee Cottage Diving was my best decision ever! What an incredible experience it has been! From the first time I’ve met Marcel Van Den Berg, the IDC Course Director, I felt welcome and at home at Sairee Cottage Diving. There’s a really nice vibe around and every single staff member is so kind and helpful! Exactly what you need during two intense weeks of IDC training. Marcel, is super experienced and full of passion. You get excited just by listening! He shares as much of his own experiences as possible and takes all the time and effort that is necessary to prepare you for the IE. Late night studying? No problem! Extra pool session? No Problem! He’s always so positive and there for you if you need him.
Once you pass the IE you’re SO relieved and happy, but also a bit sad because in the last two weeks you really became a family and you don’t want it to be over yet. Fortunately, there’s still the MSDT left. Again, Marcel and this time also Maddy Barker, the MSDT instructors, give their best to teach you the specialities and turn you into real instructors.

Looking back on my IDC and MSDT, I feel suuuuper blessed to have been part of the Sairee Cottage Family. I wouldn’t have miss it for the world and I wouldn’t have done it in any other way!

Once again, you guys are amazing and doing a fantastic job at Sairee Cottage Diving. Please don’t ever change a thing!💛
