Just finished the IDC and MSDT with Sairee Cottage. It is an amazing journey with only a few weeks. I arrived with all kind of uncertainties about my ability to complete the course. In the end, I cannot believe how much I’ve gained from here.

Marcel Van Den Berg, our IDC course director is extremely helpful and friendly from the first day I arrived from introducing the dive shop to the detail of the course. Marcel is an experienced top diver. He is full of energy and positivity and a very organized teacher during the 2 weeks of IDC course. We become family and friends by spending every day together studying and practicing all the skills. All of our students tried our best because Marcel put all of his effort in the class. He did a great job in individualized teaching by tutoring each student after class to help us improve our skills and gives us more confidence in different fields that we need. He has a selfless spirit and shares all the experience that he had in the past 6 years as a dive instructor, so we get to understand the real life and real situation being a dive instructor. At the IE exam, we realized Marcel has given us 200% of preparation and everyone in the class passed the exam with high flying scores. I have tears in my eyes when I eventually get the certificate after the IE. It is such a rewarding experience.

Marcel Van Den Berg and Maddy Barker, our MSDT instructors. They are intelligent teachers and well organized for everything. We get to experience another teaching approach and learn 9 specialties in a fun and realistic way. They constantly give us examples and suggestions on how to teach students and I love their attentive personality. I feel like I’ve turned into a real diver and instructor after the course.

Thank you very much to everyone here in Sairee Cottage. I believe I’ve made the best choice in my life to come here and discover my dive career. Thanks to our Staff instructors candidate David Snyder and Sean Ismail and all the other dive instructors DMTs that helped us with the course.

Everyone here in Sairee Cottage is super nice and friendly.
They are all environmentally friendly and they pay attention to safety.
